I have nothing to compare this to as this is my first time trying a magnesium powder. My Dr. suggested I try it for the calming effect and to help me sleep and I will do anything to avoid taking anything in pill form. I didn't think I would ever like any supplement powder mixed in my water, but this is good. I actually like it. I has a light citrus/berry taste. I put it in my water bottle and you really do need to shake it up a bit to dissolve it. I find that adding this to my daily regime actually does provide a calming effect, but I haven't noticed any huge difference in my ability to fall asleep.
Be careful, as it can cause extra bowel movements.
I would recommend and will continue to purchase.
My recipe to make a delicious Mag drink:
4 tsps of Mag powder
1/2 cup of hot boiled water
1 qt clean filtered water
1 Tbsp of Braggs Apple cider vinegar
12 tsp of Vitamin C powder
1-2 cups of any favorite juice or maple syrup to taste
First mix hot water with mag powder and mix in the other ingredients. Keep in the fridge. It gets fizzy in about 3 days and is better than any fizzy soda drinks. The drink will provide us with Mag, vit C and apple cider vinegar benefits.
