My husband was excited to receive this as a gift for Christmas. He liked the shaping accessories, I liked the apron/catcher so hair doesn’t continue to end up all over the bathroom counter. Quality appears to great, especially for the price! I bought this kit for my husband who struggles to get both sides even when shaving. So I got this hoping to help him make the grooming and shaping task quicker and easier – and it works perfectly! The comb is well made and it really makes his beard look nice. Definitely, I recommend this kit! My husband is constantly trimming and trying to line up his beard. He then needs to have me visually look to see if it's even. With this grooming kit, I no longer have to do that. Said it was fairly easy to use, he will only get better as he continues to use it. I like the fact that the apron helped catch all the hair. I got this beard kit for my husband, he’s been trying to grow it out and edge it up by himself. The pencil was visible but light on his skin, he had a little trouble using the tool but is getting better at it with practice. His favorite items from this kit is the comb and the hair catching cape. He said the comb is strong and brushes out his beard nicely throughout the day. The cape is great just a little hard to peel off the mirror.

IMILITIS Compatible Replacement Battery

Just finished replacing the battery in my wife's iPhone 5s. The battery itself fits and works fine. Rating it four stars sure to the fact that the instructions were terrible. I checked their website, but no better instructions found there either. Ultimately, I just went to YouTube and found a good instructional video there. For reference, I've previously replaced an iPhone 6s battery, and the screen on an iPad air 2, twice. This is a fine battery to buy, just don't use their instruction sheet. First, manual said is for IPhone 5S, anyway I was continue opening the IPhone 5C. I spent a lot time taking off the white glue, very strong, I cut the tape with scissor and tried to heat up the back of the Phone with a heat blower, it could help a little but was very hard. Getting the old battery out I broke two blue plastics from the package, I picked the blue parts from inside the phone. Finally Battery is out from Iphone 5C and took me a lot of time to clean the remaining white glue, long time. Then I turned around the new Battery and there were 5C letters It came a sense of relief after such a big operation. IPhone turned ON right away without issues. The hard part was the White Glue, I gave the 3 stars because those plastics are useless when I applied strong force to move the battery off the phone. Battery Doctor said the battery is "Perfect" This product was fairly well-equipped to get the job done, and I successfully accomplished the replacement with only one small screw lost in the process (due to my own fault). I do fault the kit for a few minor reasons: The instructions are not detailed enough to get it done, and recommending that I look online for instructional videos is an irresponsible and iffy strategy that increases the risk of failure, while it would have been very simple to include a little more detail, as well as links to sponsored video instructions. Although there were two extra screws provided for the external connector, there were not any extra smaller internal screws provided. I needed one. The instructions are generic, incomplete and not specific to my iPhone model, requiring me to watch several YT videos to fill in the gaps. The instructions completely ignored some aspects, such as the removal of the old battery's adhesive strips, or how to apply the replacement adhesive strips. Every aspect of this operation is critical and knowing many people won't be as handy at doing this kind of work as I am makes me sad to think there are going to be confused and unhappy people out there who are frustrated with the outcome - especially when it would have been very easy to provide complete instructions that would have increased the likelihood of complete success. #iphone https://www.amazon.com//dp/B07HF7VFM9/ref=sr_1_4?&keywords=iphone+6+

Crenova V60 Plus Food Saver Vacuum Sealer

So glad I purchased this! We frequently freeze fish and this is the perfect answer to keep our fish fresh without fear of freezer burn. It’s easy to use and takes up very little space. I also like to shop at Costco so this is going to be great to freeze the extra chicken and steak that comes in their huge packages! Very pleased with this. There are a lot of YouTube videos if you need instruction, but frankly it’s just a matter of placing the bag in the right place, getting the top closed (wait for the click!) and pushing a button. I love it! I upped my 2018 holiday game with this vacume sealer. Did a 16 hour sous-vide Turkey for Thanksgiving. We made for to much mashed sweet potatoes, the extras are now sealed up nicely in the freezer. Even the half gallon of extra giblet gravy my dad made is now bagged and in the freezer thanks to the wet function that the sealer has... now what to cook next.... Vacuum sealer performed to my full expectations. It had no problem sealing over 200 pounds of beef at once. The seal for the closure of the bags is secure and the vacuum is very tight. What a savings compared to the other name brand sealers, this is well worth the money. To start out I’d like to say how well the product was packages and you could tell they wanted to keep it safe when being shipped. The shipping was quick and received early. Now since I’ve never use or even seen one of these I didn’t know what to expect. The Cranova Vacuum came with a couple bags already made and some stuff to create your own. I had done open chip bags so i decided to see how well the product could seal stuff like that. It was quick and easy. All I had to do was set the opening on the line, shut the lid, and click the seal button. It sealed it the bag perfectly. Another feature is the product can vacuums out air and also seal. There’s a button to just vacuumed, a button to just seal, or a button that will do both. When you want to vacuum and seal just click the the button for both and it’ll vacuum out the air and seal it all at once. If you have something that is wet you can click the wet button. Over all I really like this product. The only issue I had was getting the vacuum to work. I couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t sucking out the air but then realized the lid wasn’t locking. You get it to lock I had to oak down really hard and then push in the buttons once done the vacuum worked great. The only thing i suggest is editing it to lock easier. If you want something to store things better I’d suggest the Cranova Vacuum sealer and it’s worth it in the end.

INNX Slipcovers Made of Quilted Microfiber Suede

I love this for so many reasons. I recently adopted a dog who sheds and was looking for simple modifications to make to handle the shedding (besides the brushing and other grooming stuff that I do). My mother bought a similar cover for when we come over to her house, but it wasn't great. Hers wasn't super comfy for humans to sit on, the side covers by the arm rest easily came undone, and if my dog ever jumped on the top cushion (which she loves to do), the cover would eventually come off. We had to safety pin the cover to her couch, but then sometimes when we sat on it, the safety pin would pop out! Anyways, I knew I wanted something different for my couch...and this was just what I needed. What makes this different? To begin, the arm rest area had a fabric piece that also had a horizontal foam piece, so when you push it down the side of the cushion by the armrest, it is very secure! It also is super comfortable for humans (and my dog) to sit on. When I was about to set this up and was taking off the pillows, I turned back to where I set this down on the ground and my dog was curled up on top of it! This also is long and covers my couch. It also has a strap on the back of it (which helps if you're not sure what is the front or back) which allows you to secure it to your couch. This feature didn't quite work on my couch, because it created small hole that I, being a paranoid first time dog mom, am worried my dog might fall down into and get caught because the cushion won't move with the strap. Like I said, I'm just paranoid it'd probably never happen, but I don't want to take my chances. I found that I didn't need the strap though, because the back was long enough that even if my dog jumped on top of the cushion, the top didn't flip over. Another side bonus is that if you vacuum your furniture, this makes it so much easier, because it is all on the surface. Also, if you eat on your couch and spill, it is easy to pick up and you don't have to worry about crumbs falling through the cracks. So this cover is good for my dog and me ;)! Overall, very satisfied with this product!

Esto lo escribo para mis hermanos Venezolanos, hoy como todos ustedes tambien me siento usada, ultrajada y vejada por el gobierno de Panama y los panameños; esto va pa nosotros, porque solemos olvidar las cosas, y hay mucho mas de lo que sentirnos orgullosos, y si hay que sacar los trapitos, los sacaremos, hare un recorrido historico, espero no sea muy extenso y sea entendible:

El movimiento panameño de independencia de la Corona Española se inicia el 10 de noviembre de 1821 con los eventos del Primer Grito de Independencia en la Villa de Los Santos por Rufina Alfaro y Segundo Villareal, el cual contó con el respaldo de otras poblaciones como Natá, Penonomé, Ocú y Parita. Sin embargo, los patriotas panameños admirando el liderazgo y la visión del Libertador Simón Bolívar, y por la previa pertenencia colonial del istmo al Virreinato de Nueva Granada, toman la medida de unirse voluntariamente a la República de Colombia.

Declarada su independencia de España, el 28 de noviembre de 1821, los gobernantes de Panamá toman la decisión de unirse voluntariamente a la Gran Colombia, un Estado extinto conformado por las actuales Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela y Panamá. Pero finalmente, mediante la aprobación de los próceres, se decide la unión voluntaria a la Gran Colombia de Simón Bolívar, unión que fue motivada debido a la gran admiración y liderazgo de Bolívar en las campañas independentistas del Sur de América.

El Congreso Anfictiónico de junio de 1826, bajo el ideal de Simón Bolívar, reúne en la ciudad de Panamá a representantes de los nuevos países del continente americano como Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Centroamérica, Estados Unidos, la Gran Colombia, Chile, México y Perú, como una confederación en defensa del continente contra posibles acciones de la Liga de la Santa Alianza conformada por las potencias europeas y sus reclamaciones de territorios perdidos en América.

En 1830 ocurre un movimiento que intentó la separación de Panamá de la Gran Colombia, la cual atravesaba por un caos político debido a que Venezuela y Ecuador tomaron la decisión de separase de la confederación, el general Antonio José de Sucre había sido asesinado y Bolívar desistió del gobierno. El general José Domingo Espinar, Comandante Militar del Istmo, declara la separación de Panamá el 26 de septiembre de 1830, al no estar de acuerdo con la inestabilidad del gobierno de Joaquín Mosquera, sucesor de Bolívar. Espinar le ofrece a Bolívar el gobierno del istmo, para que luchara por la adhesión de los demás países de la confederación, sin embargo Bolívar se encontraba enfermo y declina el ofrecimiento, pidiéndole a Espinar que reintegrara el Istmo de nuevo a la Gran Colombia.

Separados de la Gran Colombia, los departamentos que conformaban las regiones del norte y sur, surgieron dos nuevos países denominados Estado de Venezuela y Estado del Ecuador.

Años mas tarde A finales de la década de 1970 y principios de 1980 Panamá parecía ser un oasis en medio de una Centroamérica convertida en un campo de batalla. Pero en 1985, el horrible asesinato del doctor Hugo Spadafora puso de manifiesto el creciente descontento hacia un régimen militar desgastado y dispuesto a hacer elecciones pero no a ceder su poder.

En agosto 1983 asciende a comandante en jefe de la Guardia Nacional el General de Cuatro Estrellas, Manuel Antonio Noriega,45​ quien transforma la institución armada en las Fuerzas de Defensa de Panamá. Durante los siguientes años, el país es bloqueado económicamente por EE.UU. y cae en una recesión económica y social, pues sufre una contracción del PIB por dos años seguidos46​ (1987: -1.8), (1988: -13.3). En mayo de 1989, por instrucciones del General Noriega, son anulados los resultados electorales para elecciones presidenciales,47​ suspendiendo en septiembre la Constitución y asumiendo el control de la nación panameña en calidad de jefe del Gabinete de guerra, declarando a Panamá en estado de guerra con EE. UU.

En medio de protestas continuas, azuzadas por los norteamericanos deseosos de salir de Noriega, el entonces presidente estadounidense Ronald Reagan congeló los fondos del gobierno panameño en bancos norteamericanos, llevando al país al colapso económico. Pero si la situación era agónica, lo más duro eran las pocas esperanzas de cambio. El ejemplo era Cuba, con 30 años de experimentar una ‘situación especial’.

La cruenta dictadura y los nexos con el narcotráfico que tenía “el hombre fuerte de Panamá”, llevó a los ciudadanos panameños a emigrar en masa, yéndose inicialmente a Canadá, Colombia, Estados Unidos y Venezuela, que, aunque esta última estaba iniciando la crisis económica que desembocó en la situación que vive actualmente, en ese momento aún era un destino maravilloso para emigrar.

Si bien, luego de 1984, muchísimos países cerraron la puerta a los panameños que escapaban de su país, en Venezuela se les siguió recibiendo con las puertas abiertas de par en par para darles cobijo y apoyo en esos tiempos tan duros que estaban viviendo y que de esa forma pudieran rehacer su vida junto a sus familias en un sitio que les ofrecía paz, tranquilidad y sobre todo, seguridad.

Asi como tambien cuenta EDUARDO MORGAN JR. Abogado y ex embajador de Panamá en Washington, recordando como Carlos Andres Perez estando recien electo presidente por primera vez abogo por perfeccionar la independencia con la terminación de la presencia norteamericana en la Zona del Canal (de Panam) y en las bases militares; siendo el tema principal de su política internacional la desaparición de la anacrónica Zona del Canal (de Panama).

Luego que los Estados Unidos de América invadieran Panamá y liberaran ese país de la dictadura, muchos panameños volvieron a su país, pero otros decidieron quedarse en Venezuela y convertir a la patria de Bolívar en su nueva casa. En los ultimos años Panamá se ha convertido en cuna de inmigrantes, en especial de venezolanos y cubanos y también se ha mostrado intolerante a la oleada de Venezolanos que emigran a Panamá.
